On Friday, January 23rd, Mountaineer Area Robotics students, mentors, and parents had a chance to intoduce the MARS program to the Governor. While attending a function to celebrate the opening of the YORE Academy a resident school for troubled teens in Fairmont, WV. The MARS team was given congratulations by the Governor on our sucesses and had the opportunity to take a photogragh with said Governor. This event was a great chance to celebrate the opening of a great new facility, and bring the MARS program to the attention of the Governor.
